Thoroughbred is pleased to announce the availability of the annual Payroll releases of Solution-IV Accounting®, designated versions 8.42Z and 8.45W for our standard products and 8.42PZ for our Reprographics version.
The Solution-IV 2002 December Payroll releases contain the following:
=> Formats for the 2002 W-2’s and MMREF-1 magnetic media file;
=> Formats for the 2002 1099-MISC form;
=> 2003 Federal and state tax tables.
An updated Payroll Information Guide has been posted on the website. Please read it carefully before proceeding with the update. It contains detailed information on the changes incorporated in this release, installation instructions, suggestions for 1099-MISC and W-2 printing, an explanation of how to define the employee tax exemptions, and other relevant information.
Customers not on Solution-IV version 8.42Y or 8.45 must upgrade all modules to the current version; if they are already on a current version, it is only necessary to upgrade Payroll.
